in truth I should say that Jackson is my real hero...
I mean, what an amazing person to volunteer for ballroom lessons.
Selfless really.
Now, to find someone equally special for this little bro-o-mine...
the search begins.

my hero
The very first time I can remember being mocked by my dear friend Roy Be-bopkins was for calling him "my hero" more than once in an evening at work. Ok, I think I said it like four times that night... I've been mocked pretty much every day since that fateful first shift. That's ok, he's the big brother I never wanted anyway.
I just wanted to announce to the world that (yet again)
Lessons start Thursday... don't ask me about it until after our first go at it.. because I'm so excited I might BUST.
Got my first sunburn of the year on Saturday. Attending what must be the first ever sunny-day race weather for the "float your fanny down the ganny race". Don't ever expect good weather at a race commemorating a flood that washed your town away 25+ years ago.
there was something else monumental that I wanted to talk about. but it's gone now....
give me some time it'll come back to me.

Not only did he switch shifts with me so I could work days on Thursdays, but he was the one who thought of it! What a great guy.Lessons start Thursday... don't ask me about it until after our first go at it.. because I'm so excited I might BUST.

clarification
there aren't enought free evenings in the week....
because there are so many things that I want to be doing, but they all happen while I'm at work. So, what to give up... and for how long?
Jack and I are suppose to start our dance lessons this coming week... but do I give up my sat. night or my mon. night? BAH!!!!
What if we were to add another day in the week? What would it be called? Where would it fit in? would it be a weekday, or weekend? How would you figure out who was suppose to work? it would be nice to have an even number of days in a week....

Choose your own adventure
There are some days when all I want to do is pull a back to the future (the original).
Growing up I LOVED the choose your own adventure books… you have a story line that you are following, then you’re given the choice of what happens next. If you want to chase your friend into the abandoned house, go to page 12, if you go home and get your parents go to page 27. I especially liked the ones where you had four or more choices as to how the story would end. BUT I was never satisfied with my choices… I would mark the places in the book and go back to each choice and see what would have happened if I’d done something different.
This week I’ve been thinking about the times in my life when I wish I’d said or done something different.
Those times when I’ve stood with the option of one thing or another.
When I’ve chosen the path of least resistance.
The path that wasn’t so scary.
The path that my stubborn self had chosen.
Not that I’m not happy with who or where I am today…
I just want to go back to the earmarked page and see what would have happened.

suprise!
wow, I honestly thought that the last post would have gathered a few comments! I was mistaken.

GOOD-bye?
The term "good-bye" had never really drawn my attention before. I use it all the time.
er, no, I say "bye" or "see you later".
Now that I really think about it... I don't know the last time I used the full term.
but now I am preparing to say to the ladies "good-bye". No one knows for sure if they'll be sticking around, I guess we'll find out in the next few weeks. They wait for the go ahead from some doctor.
They've been a part of me for so long that I almost can't imagine life without them... They've been there for years, catching my mistakes, softening my landings, bringing attention, filling things out for me... really, what more could a girl want?
LESS I tell you, a girl could want less!
Less poking, less screaming "look at us", less material used against me... less pain in the back-side, less bobbing around unsure of the direction they want to go in life... less bringing me down!!!
yes, it is with anticipation that I wait to say good-bye fair ladies... but it is with trepidation I look to a future without them.

oh flatmate! you'll be missed...
It's a sad thing really. There's this blog that I've been reading for awhile now, and the writer has decided to call it quits. It's too bad really, because every day it makes me smile... laugh, quake with fear at the "what if". It's called "Things I hate about my flatmate" and is dedicated to all the dumb things that this girl's room mate does. This room mate has NO life skills what-so-ever.... it's pretty funny. BUT if you decide to visit it, just be warned the language is a little vulgar.

not all the posts are cached with a link on the page, but there are ways to look them up.
Please pray as there are some financial mix-ups that happened in my absence from Canada... and I'm not sure how to get the dialouge going to get it fixed... pray for wisdom, and grace... maybe I shouldn't have spent all my incometax?
