of course I love it.

confusion:: HOW did the chicken cross the road?

I live on a fairly quiet street traffic-wise.... except for when train 48 pulls in or out (yes, there REALLY is a train 48!) or when any of the other commuter trains are filling and emptying. Then.... I live in congesta-land... I've sat a full 5 minutes at the end of my driveway waiting for the cars to clear so I can leave my house.
I live a few doors down from the station... there are two exits to the main road from the station, the first goes directly to the road... but it's a blind exit and has resulted in many an accident, and the second takes a detour past my house onto a side road that leads to the main road... which is half a blind exit (oh, love the hills). It might have been Monday that I noticed the workers changing the street lights to include the little side road... there-by moving the stopping line for South bound travellers BACK by about 35-40 feet... They started the lights on Tuesday.... I've YET to see all the cars stop in the right spot.
This town is such a creature of habit, each time the light changes 3-5 cars are left sitting in the MIDDLE of the intersection... still blocking the side street. (Having ignored both the "stop here on red" and "do not block intersection" signs)

My camera is dead after a weekend of wedding joy, so we take a trip back in time to a little tiny bunny face.... ignore the mess in the background.

This morning, I found a container of cookies baked by my roomie.... thankfully it had my name written right on top, 'cause I ate them!

in other news... I took up pirating again tonight, after quite a long hiatus.
Too long.
I have no POE.
And I have no idea what's going on.

The week leading up to the festival was great... I set up my tent to the top of the hill (a move I always regret while walking to the top for the 30th time in a day) on Tuesday afternoon, I'd been out at the site nearly every day for the week before that, but really couldn't get myself to commit to 24 hour living till then...
My tent in place, the kitchen on it's way, I went home each night (Tues, Wed, Thurs) for some showering and bunny lovin'.

The entire week had me laughing... I was smiling from ear to ear (quite literally... my face hurt all week) I was in the place I love best. Surrounded by people who want to be where they are, and will do anything to make things succeed... who wouldn't be smiling?

I'm sure that enough happened, or was said... to write an entire novel. At one point I turned to someone and asked them to follow me around writing things down for me so I could remember everything...

I am wiped.
As in... I can barley do anything ... or think of anything.... without yawning.
I sit at my computer... and start to fall asleep. (hence the lack of posts)
Thankfully I'm not feeling too bad about not posting much about SVFF this year... I had a glance thru my archives, and it appears that every year I'm too done in to write... It's such an emotional weekend for a large group of us... a true LABOUR of love. We put our all into making it a success, and when we stop to look back at what we've done, no one can quite grasp it.

so many great little stories are jumbling around in my brain though....

Did you guys know there's a great grandmother who reads my blog???

it's going to take me a few days to process everything.
I've been composing and re-composing what it is that I want to say here... how it is that I'm going to unburden my brain... my heart... by writing about the events of the past week.

First... go get yourself a Toronto Star from today.... or find the CHEX archives from this past week.... (ps. I was on tv).
